We are an active friendly club and look forward to visitorsOur Club and Green are situated in rural North Devon, a short distance from the centre of Great Torrington, with panoramic views overlooking the Torridge valley below.
Great Torrington Bowling Club is one of
the oldest lawn bowling clubs in the
country being established in 1645. The
green is sited in the old castle grounds
overlooking the parapet to the river
Torridge, the valley and fields beyond.
Our membership is open to all ages and
we have an active social life, with our
licensed bar and social events. We
are happy to welcome visitors and new
members of all ages from 12 to 90!
